The UK-Japan Symposium on Atomic and Molecular Manipulation: Force and Tunnel Current in Scanning Probe Microscopy provides an unprecedented opportunity to meet top Japanese and UK researchers in the field of scanning probe microscopy.
The symposium aims to foster an informal environment for discussions between researchers, strengthening UK-Japan links for future collaboration and encouraging technical discussions in the field of cutting edge scanning probe techniques and atomistic modelling. In addition to a series of talks from world leading researchers, the symposium will provide an opportunity to discuss funding opportunities with representatives from the JSPS.
We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the JSPS under the JSPS symposium scheme.
Organised by the IOP Nanoscale Physics and Technology Group.
